PSG College of Arts & Science (PSG CAS) is organizing the 20th edition of Pathivugal – an extremely popular short film festival, held to give a platform for college students to showcase their film-making talents.
Conducted by the Department of Visual Communication & Electronic Media of the college, this event which was held as a South-Indian level short film competition has now become a National level competition, attracting talents from all over the country to Coimbatore.
The two-day event began on Thursday. Ashwin Chandrasekar, Jiovy, Film Directors and T.S.Krishnasekhar, Cinematographer served as the jury members of the competition.
The short films by the candidates from across India were screened before the jury on Thursday while the works by PSG CAS students will be screened and evaluated on Friday, along with the prize distribution ceremony.
