Walmart has announced the opening of registration for the India Growth Summit 2026, an event dedicated to empowering Indian businesses to scale domestically and globally.

Scheduled for May 7, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, the second edition of the summit will bring together micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), digital-first brands, direct-to-consumer (D2C) sellers, and innovative supply chain companies to explore new opportunities in global trade with Walmart.

Registration will be open up to April 23, 2026, for Indian businesses looking to join Walmart Marketplace and expand their presence in international e-commerce.

This summit aligns with the Make in India initiative, aiming to boost exports in key categories such as food, consumables, health and wellness, general merchandise, apparel, shoes, home textiles, and toys.

The India Growth Summit 2026 will feature an executive session where they will hear from key Walmart and Flipkart leaders, followed by curated learning sessions designed to help businesses scale and sustain their operations, gain valuable insights in retail, and connect to international markets through e-commerce.

Attendees will have the opportunity to register on Walmart Marketplace, unlocking access to global customers via cross-border trade.

A dedicated Resource Center will also provide one-on-one advisory support, helping businesses navigate platform onboarding, regulatory requirements, and cross-border trade with guidance from Walmart’s category teams and subject-matter experts.

“At Walmart, we are passionate about helping businesses thrive on the global stage,” said Manish Joneja, Senior Vice President, Walmart Marketplace.

“The India Growth Summit 2026 reflects our commitment to innovation and helping sellers and suppliers grow in global markets. We’re excited to work with Indian entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and reach customers worldwide.”

Since its launch in 2019, Walmart’s Vriddhi Supplier Development program has trained over 70,000 MSMEs in India.

With plans to train an additional 100,000 by 2028, the program continues to provide resources and training to help businesses expand their market access, including to international markets.

With over 1.4 million sellers on Flipkart, the summit will also provide entrepreneurs a view into international business opportunities and help create pathways for eligible MSMEs to enter and thrive in global markets.

The India Growth Summit 2026 will also serve as a platform for innovation, offering suppliers early exposure to cutting-edge retail technologies, evolving product expectations, and tools to drive international growth.

This initiative builds on Walmart’s successful global programs in countries like Mexico, Chile, Canada, South Africa, and the United States, where local suppliers have seamlessly integrated into Walmart’s global network.

Select applicants will be notified and invited to attend the summit in person. They will have the unique opportunity to connect with Walmart’s leadership teams, domain experts, and peers from across India, gaining valuable insights and resources to accelerate their journey to global success.
