The Departments of Textile Technology and Automobile Engineering at PSG College of Technology, in collaboration with PSGTECHS COE INDUTECH, will organise the Sixth International Conference on Industrial Textiles – Products, Applications, and Prospects (InduTech 2025) on 11th and 12th December 2025 at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India.
The conference is being organised in association with the Northwest Composites Centre, University of Manchester (UK), the Institute for Frontier Materials, Deakin University (Australia), and the Hof University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
The inaugural event will commence on 11th December 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in the Assembly Hall of the college, with a welcome address by Thilagavathi, Head of the Department of Textile Technology.
The inauguration will be graced by the Chief Guest, Ashwin Chandran, Chairman and Managing Director of Precot Limited, Coimbatore, and Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry, along with the Guest of Honour, Ashok Kumar Malhotra, Mission Director of the National Technical Textiles Mission under the Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi.
The ceremony will be presided over by Prasad Potluri, Director of the Northwest Composites Centre at the University of Manchester, UK.
About the conference
PSGTECHS COE INDUTECH has developed various products in the areas of filtration textiles, thermal insulation materials, acoustic insulation products, and face masks.
It supports industries in their product development and incubation. The deliberations in this theme are expected to help industries venture into new products and start-ups.
The conference includes 21 plenary speakers from leading research organisations and industries across Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, the Czech Republic, and India.
In addition, experts from various technical textile industries and research institutions will present their papers during the event. Approximately 60 papers are expected to be presented through plenary, oral, and poster sessions, with an anticipated participation of 300 to 400 delegates.
This conference emphasises the importance of international collaboration and cross-disciplinary research in addressing the challenges and opportunities faced by the textile and allied industries.
