The 28th JK Tyre FMSCI National Racing Championship was held at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore on Sunday, 16th November 2025, featuring action-packed races and new champions across multiple categories.

Dhruvh Goswami (MSport) won both races and was crowned the new champion in the LGB Formula 4 category, the premier event of the championship. He entered the final Round 3 weekend trailing championship leader Diljith T S (Dark Don Racing) but staged a remarkable comeback. The 18-year-old Bengaluru racer, a Class 12 student of St. Joseph’s, won three of the four races over the weekend in India’s longest-running single-seater championship.

The highlight was the 20-lap final race where Goswami started 7th on the reverse grid, behind former champion Diljith. Goswami took the lead early, briefly lost it to teammate Ruhaan Alva, and regained it for a dominant finish. Reflecting on the title battle, he said, “It was going to be a long race, I knew I needed to be patient.”

Monith Kumaran Srinivasan (Ahura Racing) claimed the Rookie title in the LGB Formula 4 category.

Alongside the national championship, Round 4 of the FIA-certified Formula 4 Indian Championship was also held. South Africa’s Luviwe Sambudla took his first win of the season in the opening race, while Kenya’s Shane Chandaria won the second race. Sambudla dominated from pole to finish, while Indian driver Ishaan Madesh secured third place after overtaking Saishiva Sankaran in the closing laps. In Race 2, Chandaria started from pole and won, followed by Ghazi Motlekar and Sachel Rotgé.

In the Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup, Bengaluru rider Anish Shetty, who had already sealed the professional category title a day earlier, closed the season with another win, marking his second championship in this category. In the Amateur class, Bryan Nicholas of Pondicherry won the title.

In the JK Tyre Levitas Cup, India’s newest single-make racing series, Balaji Raju secured the Rookie crown by winning both races of the day. Jai Prashanth Venkat won the Gentlemen category, capping off a season dominated by the Coimbatore driver.

With four racers in contention for the title in the JK Tyre Novice Cup, India’s entry-level single-seater series, Lokithlingeash Ravi (DTS Racing) from Pollachi emerged victorious by winning the shootout in the final race.
