The Nehru Institute of Information Technology and Management organised a two-day workshop on “Writing Quality Research Papers using Agentic AI and Large Agentic Models,” recently.

It aimed at strengthening research skills and promoting the use of advanced AI technologies in academic writing.

Adalarasu, Convenor of the workshop, delivered the welcome address, and outlined the objectives of the two-day training.

Nagaraj, Executive Director (Academics and Administration), Nehru Group of Institutions, Coimbatore and Kerala, presided over the inaugural function. In his presidential address, he emphasized the increasing significance of research among academicians and highlighted the need to adopt modern, innovative methodologies in research writing.

Senthil Kumar, Principal, delivered the felicitation address, elaborating on the rapid transformation brought by AI in the research domain. He explained how AI-based tools support researchers in preparing well-structured, data-driven, and impactful research manuscripts.

The workshop featured technical sessions led by Prasad Kulkarni, AI-enabled Research Strategist and Founder of SAIX AI Collaborative, Karnataka, and Sendhil Kumar, Associate Professor and Head of Incubation, Presidency Business School, Bengaluru.

The resource persons provided practical insights into writing quality research papers and demonstrated the application of agentic AI tools in literature review, manuscript drafting, and data interpretation.

Participants were also introduced to various academic writing formats aligned with Scopus publication standards.

Sessions covered qualitative and quantitative research paper preparation, bibliometric analysis, book chapter development, case study writing, and the creation of teaching notes and video cases.

This holistic approach enabled participants to transform their research ideas into publishable outputs.

More than 70 participants from Tamil Nadu and Kerala attended the workshop and gained hands-on experience in developing complete and structured research articles suitable for publication in Scopus, SCI, and Web of Science indexed journals.

By the end of the second day, each participant had produced at least two research articles ready for submission.

The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates to all participants.
