Archana Thiagarajan, a distinguished alumna of PSG College of Technology (B.E. EEE, 2009–2013) and an Indian Air Force veteran (Squadron Leader, Retd.), has become India’s deepest female freediver, setting five national records at the AIDA Freediving World Cup 2025, held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from 15th to 22nd October 2025. She achieved dives of up to 45 metres across multiple disciplines.
