FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) Coimbatore Chapter and VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The partnership is to strengthen collaboration in key areas such as entrepreneurship, skill development, mentorship, and women’s empowerment initiatives.
It is designed to create impactful opportunities for young women and students through a variety of initiatives, including workshops, seminars, mentorship programs, incubation support and training programs to develop women’s skills and knowledge, led by Aparna Sunku, Chairperson of FLO Coimbatore Chapter.
And it will be facilitated by the college’s leadership team comprising Jaishree Suryakumar, CEO and Secretary; Kalaivani, Principal, and Brindha, Director – Academics and Research.
This collaboration is mainly focused on fostering innovation, leadership, and inclusive growth. By working together, FLO and VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science aim to empower women with essential core skills, digital Literacy, Vocational training and networking opportunities, which enhance their personal and professional growth.
This strategic partnership underscores the commitment of both organisations towards promoting entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment in the Coimbatore region.
