Union Bank of India announced the opening of its new Zonal Office in Coimbatore, further strengthening its presence in the region. Manimekhalai, MD & CEO of Union Bank of India, inaugurated the office.
The new zonal office is located at Sowripalayam Pirivu in Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore, providing easy access for customers and facilitating improved service delivery.
In her address, Manimekhalai emphasized the bank’s commitment to delivering quality customer service and recognizing the invaluable contributions of field functionaries. She highlighted the importance of perseverance and encouraged employees to strive for excellence in their roles.
The opening of the new zonal office marks a significant expansion of the bank’s operations in Coimbatore, complementing its existing regional office and demonstrating its dedication to meeting the evolving needs of its customers and contributing to the region’s economic growth.
With this addition, the bank now has 22 zonal offices, and its regional office count stands at 140 as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance its pan-India presence with 8619 branches across the country.
The event was attended by Rajkumar, Zonal Head, customers, and other officials of the Bank.
