PSG College of Technology marked its 75th Foundation Day with a Platinum Jubilee Celebration on 3rd September 2025 at the college campus.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament (MP), Thiruvananthapuram, and the Guest of Honour, Lakshminarayanaswamy, Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust.
On the occasion, six distinguished alumni were honoured with the Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of their professional achievements and service to society.
The awardees were Srinivasan Ravi, Chairman, Craftsman Automation, Coimbatore; Cottalango Leon, Distinguished Engineer, Sony Pictures Imageworks, USA; Vanitha Kumar, Senior Vice President, Software Engineering, Qualcomm Technologies Inc., USA; Gowthaman Ranganathan, Former Director, Oracle America Inc., USA; Lakshmi Narasimha Moorthy, Co-Founder, nicheBrains, Hyderabad; and Kavitha Krishnan, Chief Technology Officer, Customer Innovation Services, SAP Labs, Bengaluru.
Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons’ Charities, presided over the celebration, while G.R. Karthikeyan, Chairman of the trust, felicitated the awardees.
The event witnessed the presence of heads of PSG Institutions, former principals, members of the alumni association, alumni, faculty members, and students.
