The tenth edition of Rozgar Mela, an Employment Fair held at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, recently.

Pankaj Chaudhary, Union Minister of State for Finance, participated and distributed 191 appointment letters to new recruits joining central government departments such as the Department of Post, Southern Railways and Central Industrial Security Force.

On the same day, Rozgar Mela was organised in 40 locations across India and witnessed the distribution of more than 51,000 job offer letters to newly appointed youth in Government departments and organisations by Narendra Modi, Prime Minister through video conferencing.

Pankaj Chaudhary presented the appointment letters in the presence of Saravanan, Postmaster General, TN – West; Vanathi Srinivasan, MLA – Coimbatore South, Malarvizhi, Chairperson, Sri Krishna Institutions; Vimalanathan, Chief Commissioner (Preventive) of the Tiruchirappalli Customs (Preventive) Zone and others.

Speaking at the event, Pankaj Chaudhary said that this government under Prime Minister Modi is giving utmost priority to job creation in the country, and noted when a youth is employed, his/her entire family gets elevated.

The Minister highlighted that the government under Modi has given utmost importance to entrepreneurship and supports it with the Mudra Yojana scheme, improves the skills of youth through Skills India Mission 2.0, and encourages start-ups through the Startup India Scheme.

“The youth of this nation should fulfil their duties to their motherland as that will make India attain Viksit Bharat status by 2047,” the Minister said.
