Kongunadu Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Coimbatore, and the Wheelchair Cricket Association of Tamil Nadu jointly organised the Tamil Nadu Wheelchair Cricket Premier Trophy – 2025 on 27th July 2025 at the college playground.
C.A. Vasuki, Secretary and Director of the College, inaugurated the tournament and encouraged the players.
Ramachandran, President, Wheelchair Cricket Association of Tamil Nadu, was the Chief Guest of the session. Subramani (Rtd. Head Master), Bharatheeya Ithihasa Sangalana Samamithi, Joint Secretary of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, served as the Guest of Honour.

Gajendran, Chief Executive Officer, Wheelchair Cricket Association of Tamil Nadu, presided over the function. Earlier, Major Kavithashri, Director of Physical Education of the College, welcomed the gathering. 58 enthusiastic players from various districts of the state participated in the tournament.

Indubala Elangovan, Member of the College Council, served as the Special Guest for the Valedictory session and appreciated the players for showcasing their sportsmanship.
She distributed the trophies for the winners. The Salem district won first place. The Coimbatore district bagged the runners’ trophy, and the Tiruppur team won third place.

This event provided an opportunity for the talented players to exhibit their skill as well as their team performance, which helped them to feel motivated and offered them more cherished moments.
The Department of Physical Education of Kongunadu Arts and Science College took pride in organising this tournament successfully with the sincere efforts of the energetic team.
