In a heartwarming display of unity and patriotism, St. Leander’s Pre-School, Keeranatham, Coimbatore, in association with Nam Bharatha Sevai Charitable Trust, recently achieved a remarkable world record on the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day.

79 enthusiastic pre-school students came together to create the largest tricolour finger painting handprint flag, measuring 79 feet long, 26.4 feet in length and 3 feet in height, on a single cloth.

The activity was accompanied by the patriotic pledge: “India is my country, I love my India, Jai Hind!”—all completed in just 79 seconds.

The event was organised under the leadership of Leema, Correspondent of St. Leander’s Pre-School, and the visionary guidance of Bala Saravanan, Founder and President of Nam Bharatha Sevai Charitable Trust, an organisation renowned for achieving over 20 world records in social service and patriotic initiatives.

The Ingenious Charm World Records Organisation recognised this achievement, with Chief Adjudicator Anand Rajendran officially confirming the new world record title.

Bala Saravanan expressed pride in the young participants, stating, “This record is not just about numbers—it’s about instilling love for the nation from a young age. These children are the future of India, and today they have shown the world their passion, creativity, and unity.”

The colourful tricolour handprint flag created by the children stands as a symbol of India’s vibrant spirit and promising future. This inspiring initiative has brought communities together in patriotic pride while fostering creativity and teamwork among the nation’s youngest citizens.
