Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Vattamalaipalayam, welcomed its 32nd batch of students with an orientation programme on 20th August 2025.
R. Sundar, Managing Trustee of SNR Charitable Trust, presided over the event and delivered the presidential address.
Archana Yadav, Global Program Manager at Juniper Networks, Bengaluru, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Priyadharsini Shan mugham, an alumna of the college and Director at the Bank of New York, Chennai, and Hareesh Kumar, Director of Information Development Engineering at Juniper Networks, Bengaluru, were the Guests of Honour.
Soundarrajan, Principal of the college, explained about the institution’s management, recognitions, and accreditations.
The newly inducted first-year programmes included the B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering / Robotics and Automation.
In B.Tech. Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and in the M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering was inducted.
Students who secured top marks in the first and second semesters were honoured at the event by the dignitaries.
Faculty members, first year students and, parents were present at the event.
