Sri Ramakrishna Central School observed National Girl Child Day 2026 with a three-day #EmpowerHer campaign held from January 21 to 23, 2026, highlighting the importance of girl child education and gender equality.

On the first day, more than 100 parents took a pledge and participated in an awareness initiative, reaffirming their commitment to support their daughters’ education and aspirations.

The second day witnessed enthusiastic participation from girl students, who confidently shared their dreams and future goals.

The third day featured a “Wall of Promises,” where parents and male siblings pledged their support, respect, and encouragement for the girl child.

The programme titled “Educate a Girl, Empower a Nation!” included an insight talk and was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Neena Arthida, Founder and Chairperson of the ARTHIDA Foundation for Lives. She emphasised the importance of collective responsibility in empowering girls.
