The Rotary Club of Coimbatore Centennial conducted its 20th Installation Ceremony at Hotel Grand Regent on 23rd July 2025.
During the ceremony, the club donated ₹1 lakh to G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital (GKNMH) to support the treatment of paediatric cancer patients.
The donation was raised through the club’s signature project Uyire, a fundraising initiative that featured a music concert. The proceeds from the concert were dedicated to this cause. The event was organised in collaboration with GKNMH.
The ₹1 lakh donation was received by Dr. Ajeitha, Pediatric Hemato-Oncologist at the hospital. Gokul, from the hospital’s Public Relations team, was also present at the event.
