Rotary Club of Coimbatore Aakruthi and Aalam distributed 300 sewing machines worth Rs 25,00,000 to single mothers and underprivileged women in Pondicherry on 12th October 2025.
This initiative was part of the club’s community service project focused on women empowerment.
The project was sponsored by Rtn. AKRFC Dr. Leema Rose Martin, Director of Martin Group of Companies.
Rotary Clubs of Pondicherry Eves, Vision, Shine, Agaram, and Divine collaborated on this mega project.
This noble gesture will bring meaning to the lives of underprivileged women and boost their confidence to lead better lives in society, said the club.
