To improve women’s safety and create awareness about anti-drugs, the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity, Rotaract Club of Kovai Knights, Rotaract Club of JSS Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Science, Rotaract Club of Karpagam College of Pharmacy organized an awareness program under the name ‘Matharae’ at Valankulam Lake, recently.
Rtn. Godwin Maria Viswasam, District Youth Service Chairman graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Asif Ahmed, Anti-drug activist and public speaker and Bhaskar Srinivasan, General Manager, Smart City Limited, Coimbatore were the Guests of Honour.
Rtr.PHF.Thanghapantieyaan, District Rotaract Representative for the year 2024-2025 and special invitee Suresh Kumar, Founder & CEO, Triumph Expeditions Pvt Ltd were present.
Ashif Ahamed gave the audience an informational session about drug safety awareness.

More than 400 public participated in the event and benefited from the awareness about the safety of women and Anti-Drug.
