The 1106-22/FSFS – 2(TN) Naval Unit NCC at PSG Polytechnic College, on Monday, felicitated two Naval NCC students who participated in the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026, representing the college, the NCC unit, and the Directorate.

Pachiyappan, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax (OSD), Coimbatore, graced the occasion as the chief guest and congratulated the students, while Giriraj, Principal of the college, presided over the ceremony.

The chief guest honoured the achievers with mementoes and citations.

The two cadets, Petty Officer Cadet (POC) Sivasankari and Leading Cadet (LC) Sarvesh, participated in the All India Best Cadet Competition and were recognised as the Naval Best Cadets of the Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar (TN, P & AN) Directorate.

They also secured a gold medal at the Prime Minister’s Rally and Ballet while representing the Directorate.

Sivasankari received the Director General of NCC (DG NCC) medallion for her outstanding performance, discipline, and leadership during the RDC camp held in New Delhi. Additionally, Sarvesh had the honour of presenting the Flag Area briefing to C. P. Radhakrishnan, Vice President of India.

The RDC selection process is highly competitive, featuring the best cadets from across the country, and even participation is considered a testament to exceptional merit and perseverance.
