PSG Institute of Oncology conducted the one-day workshop on “Bridging Medical Physics and Practice: Clinical Radiotherapy Dosimetry – 2025”, on 2nd August 2025 at PSG Institute of Oncology.
It is powered by Sun Nuclear, USA, and the event brought together over 40 senior medical physicists and radiation oncology professionals from leading cancer centers across South India.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Balaji, Director of Oncology, with a felicitation address by Dr. Subbarao, Principal, PSG IMSR.
Ravi Saini, Sales Director, Sun Nuclear, USA, delivered the workshop address, highlighting global perspectives on quality assurance and dosimetric innovations.
Focused on the critical role of medical physicists in radiation therapy planning and execution, the program included expert talks and demonstrations on advanced dosimetric tools and Quality Assurance protocols, essential for enhancing treatment precision and patient safety.
The workshop served as a dynamic platform to bridge academic knowledge with real-world clinical practice. It reaffirmed PSG’s dedication to innovation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and continued professional development in advancing cancer care.
