Innovation Ambassadors and the Departments of Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering of Park College of Engineering and Technology organised the Park Young Innovators Summit titled “Neengalum Abdul Kalam Aagalam” on 30th October 2025.
The event was graced by the presence of Padma Bhushan Dr. Nambi Narayanan, renowned aerospace scientist, who attended as the Chief Guest.

The summit featured an exhibition where school students from Classes 6 to 12, representing various institutions from across Tamil Nadu and other parts of India, showcased their innovative projects.
Ravi, Chairman of Park Group of Institutions, presided over the event and delivered the Presidential Address, while Anusha Ravi, CEO of the institutions, delivered the Felicitation Address.
The expo was organised under six domains, including Medical Technology, Aerospace, Space, Green Technology, and Disaster Management.

Winners in each domain were honoured with a cash prize of ₹5,000, presented by the Chief Guest.
The overall winner of the event was the team from Government Higher Secondary School, Arasur, who received a cash prize of ₹25,000 for their project titled “Bus Gas Leakage Detector.”
The expo featured a wide range of attractions, including Robotics and Drone Shows, a Space Exploration Zone, Science & Innovation Expo, AI & Coding Corner, 3D Printing Demonstrations, AR/VR Experience Zone, and a Green Tech Lab.

Earlier, the Aeronautical Engineering students of the Park Group of Institutions conducted a trial satellite launch experiment, sending a satellite model to a height of one kilometre, in the presence of the special guest, Nambi Narayanan.
