The Department of Information Technology, Dr. NGP Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Technaureus Info Solutions, Kozhikode, Kerala, recently.

The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by fostering skill development, research, and innovation among students and faculty.

The MoU focuses on enhancing educational opportunities through various initiatives, including faculty enablement programs, student workshops, seminars, and placement support.

Under this partnership, the company will provide a robust platform for training and project work, helping the students to gain hands-on experience in industry-relevant technologies.

The company will also extend mentorship and technical guidance to both students and faculty members, enabling them to stay updated with emerging trends in the IT field.

In addition, deserving students will be offered internship and placement opportunities based on merit and availability.

As part of the collaboration, Technaureus will conduct workshops and training sessions in emerging technologies and support the curriculum enrichment process by introducing one- credit courses and value-added programs that align with industry standards.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary of the college, and exchanged with Jasad Moozhiyan, Managing Director from Technaureus.

Prabha, Principal; Palanikumar, Dean of Computing Sciences; Krishnamoorthi, Head of the Department; and faculty members of the IT Department graced the occasion.
