The Department of Information Technology, The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology, signed a Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with four industries on 28.08.2024 and 29.08.2024.
On the first day, the college signed a MoU with Hackup Technology Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore and Onedata Software solutions Private Limited, Coimbatore and on the second day with Visaithalam Solutions, Coimbatore and Praya Labs, Tiruvannamalai to foster a robust partnership between academia and industry.
The primary objectives include enhancing research collaboration in cutting-edge technologies such as AI, cybersecurity, Cloud Computing and data analytics. It also focuses on student and faculty development by providing access to internships, specialized training, and industry-led workshops.
Additionally, the partnership aims to integrate industry-relevant content into the academic curriculum, ensuring that students are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge demanded by the job market.
The MOU is expected to be a mutually beneficial relationship that drives innovation and practical learning. The collaboration will likely result in joint research projects, the development of new educational modules, and opportunities for joint ventures in product development or consultancy services.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Thavamani D Palaniswami, Secretary, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology and exchanged with the industry personalities in the presence of Mathura V Palaniswami, Director Dr.NGPRET, Dr.S.U.Prabha, Principal, Dr. M.Krishnamoorthi, HOD/ IT & CSBS and the faculty members.
