The Department of Civil Engineering at Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology (NGP iTech), in collaboration with the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India), Coimbatore Centre and UltraTech Cements conducted a road show from SITRA to NGP iTECH campus, recently.
The road show aims to promote Student Technical Expo “Your Dream Home” [“உங்கள் கனவு இல்லம்”] which is scheduled on 31.08.2024 & 01.09.2024 at B-Block Conference center, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology.
The Road Show event was flagged off by Dr.Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary of the college and Dr.A. Sudhakar, Chairman, Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India), Coimbatore Centre in presence on Dr.S.U.Prabha, Principal, NGP iTECH, representatives from UltraTech, ACCE (I), Coimbatore Centre, Heads of the Departments, Faculty Members and students.
The student expo is a signature event of civil engineering department, aimed at providing a platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
It also offers an excellent opportunity to interact with industrial experts, Engineers, Architects, Valuers and Publics to gain field-oriented knowledge.
NGP iTECH – Civil Engineering students are going to exhibit the construction stages of a residential building, materials, quality control aspects, etc. in 20+ stalls to explore the ideas for the construction of “Your Dream Home” [“உங்கள் கனவு இல்லம்”]
