The Centre for Development and Environmental Research, a recently established research centre in Coimbatore and the Post-Graduate and Research Department of Economics of PSG College of Arts and Science, jointly organised a National Conference on “Current Status of Indian Economy- Achievements and Challenges” on 28th February 2025 at the College.
Professors and researchers from various renowned institutes and universities presented their research articles on different aspects of the Indian economy.
The discussions and deliberations at the conference were beneficial for students and research scholars in understanding the development of the Indian economy since independence, said Govindarajan, Founder and Director of CDER, Coimbatore.
Govindarajan, Senguttuvan, Principal of the college; Ravikumar, Head of the Department of Economics; Vaidyanathan, Organising Secretary and Faculty members of the department were present at the conference.
