The Finance Club of KV Institute of Management and Information Studies (KVIM) organised a hands-on training session on Stock Screeners and Virtual Stock Trading at the FinTech Lab on 11th August 2025, which was led by Finance Mentor Sulthan.

The session introduced students to the practical application of stock screening tools, enabling them to identify potential investment opportunities based on real-time market data and specific financial parameters.

Sulthan guided participants through live demonstrations using the Screeners app, followed by virtual stock trading simulations that replicated real market conditions and investment decision-making scenarios.

Students actively engaged in applying screening criteria, testing trading strategies, and tracking portfolio performance, gaining practical insights into how professional traders analyse and act on market information.

This real-time practice bridged the gap between classroom concepts and actual trading environments.

The session equipped students with the ability to use digital stock screening tools for informed investment decisions. They gained hands-on experience in executing trades and managing portfolios through virtual platforms. Students developed a deeper understanding of market analysis, risk management, and technology-driven trading strategies.

The club thanked Sulthan for sharing his expertise and delivering such an insightful hands-on session.
