As part of its Platinum Jubilee celebrations, PSG College of Technology organised the IEEE Technically Co-Sponsored Second International Conference on Innovations and Intelligence in Emerging Technologies (ICIIET 2025) from December 4th to 6th, 2025.
The conference is a prestigious global forum bringing together leading academicians, researchers, industry experts, and student innovators.
The conference commenced with an inaugural ceremony on December 5, 2025, with Sandeep Oswal, TI Senior Fellow, Technologist and Signal Chain Architect, Texas Instruments Bengaluru as Chief Guest and Shanmuganathan Raman, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, as Guest of Honour.

Prakasan, Principal of the college presided over the function and he emphasized the importance of understanding the historical evolution of technologies by citing the evolution of communication as an example that has paved the way for numerous innovations today.
Sandeep Oswal highlighted that technological innovation is rooted in a strong grasp of fundamental concepts, which students must thoroughly learn during their engineering education.
Shanmuganathan Raman explained the growing significance of AI and Generative AI in domains such as healthcare, electronic manufacturing, and computer vision.
The conference featured seven keynote sessions and 20 technical presentation sessions held on December 5 and 6.
The keynote addresses were delivered by Sandeep Oswal; Ramesh Bansal, Professor, University of Sharjah, UAE; Wasif Naseem, Professor, Queen’s University Belfast, Belfast, Northern Ireland; Fatih Porikli, Vice President, Qualcomm, USA; Parag Paul, Founder and Architect, RIG AI, USA; Sundar Kumar Iyer, Professor, IIT, Kanpur; and Sabarimalai Manikandan, Associate Professor, IIT Palakkad.
The conference received 1100 technical papers from across the globe, which underwent a double-blind review process. A total of 154 papers were selected for presentation, including 40 international submissions.
The conference was formally concluded with the valedictory function, with Saravanan, Principal Researcher, Ericsson Research India, Chennai, as the Chief Guest and Nadarajan, Dean-Placement and Training, PSG College of Technology, presiding over the function.
Best papers selected from the technical presentation sessions were awarded during the valedictory ceremony.
