Anant Ambani, Executive Director, Reliance Industries has announced that he will be supporting Ganga Spine Injury Foundation (GSIF) in Coimbatore, after hearing about the invaluable rehabilitation service the foundation is offering patients with spinal cord injuries.
The decision to financially back GSIF was made ahead of Anant’s birthday set to take place on Friday (April.10th). Expressing its sincere gratitude, Ganga Spine Injury Foundation thanked Anant Ambani for his generous contribution.
“Anant Ambani’s birthday contribution will help bridge the gap for underprivileged patients, enabling them to undergo comprehensive, fully supported rehabilitation free of cost at GSIF for a period of 50 days or more, based on individual recovery needs,” said GSIF via a press release.
During this period, patients will receive multidisciplinary rehabilitation services, including medical care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, mobility and wheelchair training, bladder and bowel management, psychological counselling, nutritional support, and vocational and functional rehabilitation. The program is designed to help individuals regain independence, return to work, and reintegrate into society with dignity.
