Dr. NGP Institute of Technology welcomed the 19th batch of B.E. and B.Tech. students with a Freshers’ Meet held on 6th August 2025.
Prabha, Principal of the institute, welcomed the gathering and spoke about the institution’s vision and its pivotal role in shaping future engineers.
Delivering the Presidential Address, Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman & Managing Director of Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, emphasised the importance of holistic education and the institute’s commitment to nurturing young minds.
Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary of the institute, delivered the Felicitation Address, inspiring students to make the most of the opportunities offered by the institution.
The event was also graced by the esteemed presence of Trustees Dr. Arun N. Palaniswami and Mathura V. Palaniswami of the Dr. NGP Research and Educational Trust.
Buvaneswaran, Chief Executive Officer, and Muthusamy, Director – Academics of the trust, were also present.
Ramasamy, Chairman of Roots Group of Companies, Coimbatore, in his Chief Guest Address, shared valuable insights from his extensive industry experience. He encouraged students to embrace innovation, remain resilient, and focus on continuous learning to succeed in their careers.
The programme also included a formal introduction of the Heads of Departments, presented by the Principal.
The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Asita Thangavel, President of the Student Council.
