PSG College of Pharmacy organised two- day National Conference on Automation, IT, and Advancements in Pharmaceutical Sciences (ICAAPS 2024), recently.
The conference was accredited by the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai.
Giriraj, Principal, PSG Polytechnic College graced as the chief guest and inaugurated the conference.
The event featured eight distinguished speakers from industry, academia, and clinical practice, all of whom will share their insights on the themes proposed in the conference.
The conference was a continuation of the successful conduct of ICAAPS in the year 2022, which highlighted the intersection of pharmacy education, industry growth, and technological advancements.
ICAAPS 2024 aims to integrate the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry with interdisciplinary technologies such as computational science, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML.) in drug discovery and development.
The scientific sessions at the event held with the themes, exploring the role of information technology, Al, and in drug discovery and development process.
The event was designed to provide a platform for young researchers to engage in trans-disciplinary research, through interactive sessions with the experts.
The outcome of ICAAPS 2024 is expected to inspire the next generation of pharmaceutical professionals to actively apply innovative technologies and collaborate across disciplines in the pursuit of excellence in new pharmaceuticals & development.
