The Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) jointly organised a two-day certification course for CBSE-nominated resource persons at National Model Senior Secondary School recently.
The event was graced by Arunima Mazumdar, Joint Secretary and Head of CBSE’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) Chennai, and Geetha Lakshman, Principal of National Model Senior Secondary School, who served as the venue host.
Prominent resource persons for the course included Moloy Sanyal, Director (DoPT), ISTM; Sunil Dhapte, Director of OmMita Consultancy LLP; and Sh. Joji Paul, Principal of Benchmark International School, Tirur. Each brought their extensive expertise to provide valuable insights and training to the participants.
The certification course was designed to enhance the basic training and instructional skills of the resource persons, empowering them to undertake the responsibilities of designing and conducting training courses in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Furthermore, the program aimed to prepare trainers to contribute effectively to the NEP 2020 implementation process, ensuring compliance with its obligations and reforms.
