The young archers of The NGP School brought laurels to the institution by delivering an impressive performance at the CBSE National Girls Archery Championship 2026–27, held recently at Delhi Public School in Haryana.
Competing in the Under-14 Compound Girls category, the NGP School archers secured an impressive medal tally of six gold, one silver and one bronze medal, earning national recognition for their outstanding performance.

In the Team Round, the NGP School team emerged champions, securing first place and the Gold Medal. Their performance showcased excellent coordination, teamwork and sporting spirit.
In the Individual Ranking Round, Ayanthika Gopal secured Rank 1 and the Gold Medal, emerging as the individual champion. Deekshita secured third place and the Bronze Medal.
Akshika Baskar and Darshini also delivered commendable performances, finishing 14th and 17th, respectively.
The NGP archers continued their impressive performance in the Individual Elimination Round, where Ayanthika Gopal once again secured the Gold Medal, while Deekshita won the Silver Medal.
The achievement reflects the young archers’ dedication, discipline, consistent practice and determination, along with the encouragement and support extended by the school management, coaches and teachers.
