The School of Commerce – Professional Coaching Wing and the Department of Commerce (Professional Accounting), KPR College of Arts, Science and Research, in association with Sri Eswar Academy and Arivupro Academy, organised “Auditors’ Conclave 2026” recently.
Geetha, Principal of the College, presided over the programme and delivered the Presidential Address. Kumathadevi, Dean, School of Commerce, delivered the Felicitation Address.
The achievers and the guest were also honoured as part of the inaugural ceremony.
The inaugural session featured CA Shandip Sabapathy, Chartered Accountant, as the chief guest, who delivered an insightful address on the evolving landscape of auditing and the opportunities available for aspiring accounting professionals.
The technical sessions provided students with valuable exposure to contemporary auditing practices, professional standards and industry expectations.
CA Naveen Prabhu, Chartered Accountant, handled Technical Session I, sharing practical insights from the auditing profession.
The second technical session focused on professional knowledge and practical aspects of the accounting and auditing domain. The programme continued with the third technical session, where Hazzan Hasim, ACCA, Director – Finance & Pinnacle Business Management, shared his expertise and industry perspectives with the students.
The conclave served as a significant platform for students to interact with experienced professionals, understand current trends in auditing and gain practical insights beyond the classroom.
The sessions also encouraged students to enhance their professional competencies and prepare themselves for successful careers in accounting, auditing and finance.
