With the aim to bring together tourism and hospitality stakeholders across India to Chhattisgarh to guide them explore the state’s tourism potential, a dedicated Chhattisgarh Familiarization Tour was organized recently.
Spearheaded by the Global Association of Events & Hospitality Professionals (GAEHP), in association with the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB), this program included a 5-day exploration of North and South Chhattisgarh, enabling participants to experience the state’s diverse landscapes, tribal heritage, waterfalls, forests, spirituality, adventure tourism, and hospitality infrastructure.
12 invited tour operators and travel professionals were hosted by the organizers. A key highlight of the program was the GAEHP Chhattisgarh Tourism Networking Evening held in Raipur, where tourism stakeholders from Chhattisgarh connected with leading travel buyers and industry professionals from across India.
Neelu Sharma, Chairman, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB), and Vivek Acharya, Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, along with 52 members of GAEHP, industry leaders, and tourism stakeholders met the delegates at the valedictory and held discussions.
