Young Indians (Yi) Coimbatore, in collaboration with Startup Singam, successfully hosted Rural Pitch 2026 on July 11th at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex as part of Agri Intex 2026, bringing together some of Tamil Nadu’s most promising rural entrepreneurs, innovators, mentors, investors, and ecosystem leaders.

In a Press release issued by CII office it is said, The initiative received an overwhelming response from across Tamil Nadu, with over 200 rural entrepreneurs registering to participate. Following a rigorous evaluation process, more than 70 entrepreneurs were shortlisted for an intensive Rural Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, hosted at Krishnamal College, the Bootcamp Venue Partner. The bootcamp featured expert-led sessions on business strategy, product validation, market access, investment readiness, and pitch preparation, equipping participants to take their ventures to the next level.

The entrepreneurs then progressed to an advanced Masterclass, culminating in the Grand Finale. The journey concluded today with 15 exceptional finalists presenting their ventures before an eminent jury comprising startup founders, investors, incubators, and industry leaders. The finalists showcased innovative solutions across agriculture, agri-tech, food processing, sustainability, rural livelihoods, and community development, highlighting the immense entrepreneurial potential emerging from rural India.

The event featured inspiring keynote sessions and engaging discussions led by renowned entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem enablers, offering valuable insights into building scalable and impactful rural enterprises. Beyond the competition, Rural Pitch 2026 also created opportunities for networking, mentorship, incubation support, and investor engagement, helping bridge the gap between grassroots innovation and the startup ecosystem.
