Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Matric Higher Secondary School inaugurated the Vivekananda Study Circle recently at the school.

The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Maheswari, Principal and the Chief Guest, Swamini Sampratishthananda.

Principal addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of education, character building, and values in students’ lives.

The Chief Guest, Swamini Sampratishthananda, delivered an inspiring speech on faith, devotion, and service to society. Her words of wisdom deeply inspired the audience.

In her inspiring address on the theme “Human Excellence – Empathy and Compassion,” Swamini Sampratishthananda explained that true excellence lies not only in academic achievement but also in cultivating a compassionate heart, noble character, and a spirit of selfless service.

Citing the lives of great personalities such as Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Amritanandamayi Amma, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and the founder of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, she emphasised that their greatness stemmed from their love, empathy, and dedication to humanity.

Through interactive activities and meaningful examples, she encouraged students to identify their inner potential, work towards a worthy goal, and develop a healthy body, a peaceful mind, and a clear intellect. She concluded by inspiring the students to practise kindness, cooperation, and compassion in their daily lives, thereby striving for true human excellence.

At the inauguration, Daphne of Class IX shared inspiring quotes of Swami Vivekananda, motivating everyone to work hard and achieve their goals. Students presented soulful bhajans, creating a peaceful and devotional atmosphere. Books and badges were distributed to the members of the Vivekananda Study Circle.
