The Department of Information Technology at Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chronosphere Technocrates, Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, today.
The MoU aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by promoting skill development, research, and innovation among students and faculty.
The collaboration will focus on faculty enablement programmes, student internships, seminars, workshops in emerging AI technologies, project training, and placement support.
The company will also provide mentorship and technical guidance, along with opportunities for internships and placements based on merit and availability.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary of the institution, and exchanged with Manojkumar, Chief AI Officer of the company.
The event was graced by Prabha, Principal; Palanikkumar, Dean of Computing Sciences; Krishnamoorthi, Head of the Department and faculty members.
The partnership marks a significant step towards strengthening industry collaboration and preparing students as future-ready IT professionals.
