The Logistics and Supply Chain Club of  KV Institute of Management and Information Studies (KVIMIS) organised an Internal Workshop on “Driving Logistics Innovation through Power BI” on 09th September 2025.

The session was led by Sulthan, Director – Academics, who emphasised the growing importance of business analytics and visualisation tools in logistics and supply chain management.

Through hands-on demonstrations, students were trained on creating interactive dashboards, analysing material management datasets, and deriving actionable insights using Power BI.

The workshop witnessed active participation from MBA students of the 2024 and 2025 batches, who gained exposure to the practical application of analytics in solving logistics challenges. The initiative was well-received by the participants, as it bridged the gap between academic learning and industry practices.

“This activity reflects KVIMIS’s commitment to fostering industry-relevant skills and preparing students as future-ready leaders in the logistics sector. Such programs are regularly conducted under the banner of the Logistics and Supply Chain Club – LOGIVERSE, to strengthen the employability and analytical skills of management graduates,” said the organisers.
